利奧波德·馮·萨克-马索克(, )是一名奥地利作家,以描写加利西亚生活的文章和浪漫小说在所处年代闻名。受虐癖(masochism)一词即来源于他的姓氏。
生平
马索克是当时有名的知识分子,被一些人当作是歌德的继承人,并常被拿来和屠格涅夫比较。马索克是一个理想主义者,他也经常在他的作品中表现出对理想的共产主义和人文主义的拥护。
马索克最出名的小说是《穿貂皮衣的维纳斯》(Venus in Furs),这也是他最早有英文翻译版本的作品。
