球會生涯
車路士
麥卡蘭於北愛爾蘭的草根足球會-{zh-hans:利马瓦迪;zh-hk:利馬華迪;}-青年隊開始足球生涯，並於2015年轉投高利寧}-的足球學院。

2018年7月，麥卡蘭加盟英超球會車路士，並於2018年9月首次為車路士U18上陣，對手為阿仙奴。

2022年7月23日，麥卡蘭外借加盟英乙球會巴羅，為期一季。他於同月30日上演生涯地標戰，正選上陣並協助球隊以3–2擊敗史托港。8月16日，麥卡蘭在對陣華素爾的比賽中射入職業生涯首個入球，協助球隊以2–1勝出。

2023年6月16日，車路士宣布麥卡蘭不獲續約，將於7月1日成為自由身球員。

2023年8月3日，蘇超球會聖莊士東宣布免費簽入麥卡蘭。
