鯊魚襲擊

鯊魚襲擊，泛指鯊魚對人類的襲擊，每年全球會有大約80宗報告個案。雖然不常發生，很多人對鯊魚仍然會感到恐懼，其源由可能來自一連串偶發的連環個案，例如1916年澤西海岸鯊魚襲擊事件，或對驚慄電影如《大白鯊》系列的印象。在489個鯊魚品種之中，只有3種（大白鯊、虎鯊和公牛鯊）會造成雙位數字的死亡、無端攻擊。遠洋白鰭鯊亦有可能襲擊沉船的遇難者，但是沒有統計數據 。
