霍华德·艾略特·齐默尔曼(,),美国化学家,威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校化学教授。他于1980年入选为美国国家科学院院士,并于1986年荣获。
生平
霍华德·齐默尔曼是土生土长的康乃狄克州人。在第二次世界大战期间,他作为一名坦克炮手,服役于欧洲战场的。他最终以军衔退役。他也是1972年IUPAC光化学座谈会(巴登-巴登)和五次环太平洋化学座谈会(最后一次为2010年)的组织者之一。
