魯德蘭舒·穆克吉

魯德蘭舒·穆克吉（）是一位印度教育家、歷史學家和編輯。曾擔任加爾各答電訊報評論版總編輯，目前擔任阿育王大學校監及歷史學教授。

學業
他曾就讀加爾各答男子學校、加爾各答總統大學、賈瓦哈拉爾·尼赫魯大學以及牛津大學聖艾德蒙學堂。他在1980年從牛津大學取得的博士學位論文題為"The rebellion in Awadh, 1857-1858: a study in popular resistance". 他後來曾數度在不同出版物中修正他對於印度民族起義的看法，例如在Awadh in Revolt 1857-58: A Study of Popular Resistance (Delhi, 1984, repr. 2002)、Spectre of Violence: The 1857 Kanpur Massacres (Delhi, 1988)以及Mangal Pandey: Brave Martyr or Accidental Hero? (Penguin India)中等等

學術生涯
他曾在加爾各答大學任教歷史，並且在普林斯頓大學、曼徹斯特大學、加利福尼亞大學聖塔克魯茲分校以及年輕印度計劃有委任職位。他1975年起加入加爾各答社會科學研究中心擔任初級研究員，並且在中心持續關注全球北方在知識生產方面的相關議題。
