索甲仁波切

索甲仁波切（，），出生於康區甘孜縣，佛教人物、作家，屬於藏傳佛教寧瑪派佐欽傳承之上師。曾旅居西方，2017年開始接受結腸癌治療，2019年因肺栓塞圓寂於泰國。

其暢銷名著《西藏生死書》，此書被翻譯成30種文字、在56國發行，迴響頗大，內容為以六中有解釋佛教的輪迴觀。其創立遍布四十餘國之，為西方宣傳藏傳佛教重要之組織。

師承
主要師承二世，在康區宗薩寺學習，被認證是十三世達賴的老師伏藏師之轉世。1971年獲得資助以訪問學人的身分，前往劍橋大學三一學院學習宗教比較。旅居西方時，親炙數位耆老，並為之翻譯法教：二世敦珠仁波切、頂果欽哲仁波切和 。於1973安排十四世達賴喇嘛拜訪羅馬天主教教宗保祿六世。

爭議
索甲仁波切生前也傳出多起性侵事件，但從未被定罪。1994年在旧金山遭女学员控告性侵，求償1000萬美元，最后庭外和解。多起性侵事件使以往與他過從甚密的十四世達賴也出面批判，指他「蒙羞」。
