古波斯楔形文字

古波斯楔形文字是準字母楔形文字，它是古波斯語使用的主要文字。使用這種楔形文字的文本在波斯波利斯、蘇薩、哈馬丹、亞美尼亞和蘇伊士運河沿岸找到。它們主要是來自大流士一世和他的兒子薛西斯一世的題刻。後來直到阿爾塔薛西斯三世的國王使用被分類為“前中古波斯語”的一種破敗形式的語言。
