笈多文

笈多文（有時叫做笈多婆羅米文或後婆羅米文）用來書寫梵語并且關聯於印度的笈多王朝，它是物質上繁榮和巨大的宗教和科學發展的時代。笈多文起源自婆羅米文并引出了城文、夏拉達文和悉曇文。這些文字在此後引出了很多最重要的印度文字，包括天城文（自從十九世紀後書寫梵語最常用的文字）、用於旁遮普語的古木基文和藏文字母。
