沃爾夫循環(英語:Wolfe Cycle)是氫營養型產甲烷古菌用於甲烷生成的途徑,以氫(H2)和二氧化碳(CO2)作為反應物產生甲烷,此循環依其發現者,美國微生物學家命名。
在沃爾夫循環中,二氧化碳被逐步還原,依序以(MFR)、(H4MPT)和輔酶M(HS-CoM)等輔酶作為單碳(C1)單元的載體,最終將碳原子還原成甲烷。在全球碳循環中,進入厭氧環境的生物質會被微生物轉化為甲烷並釋放回大氣,其中大約有三分之一的甲烷產出是依賴此途徑還原二氧化碳轉化而來
