GIOVE

; ），即伽利略轨道验证元素（Galileo In-Orbit Validation Element），是为欧洲空间局（ESA）建造的两颗卫星的名称，设计初衷是在轨道上测试伽利略定位系统的相关技术。

该名称的选用旨在向伽利略·伽利莱致敬。他不仅发现了木星的前四颗天然卫星，随后还发现这些卫星可被用作通用时钟，以此获取地球表面任意地点的经度。

在伽利略定位系统轨道验证（IOV）阶段的风险缓解框架内，GIOVE卫星由GIOVE任务（GIOVE-M）部分负责运行。
