柯嬌燕

柯嬌燕（）出生於1955年11月18日，是位美國歷史學家，研究現代中國、北亞和全球史，是達特茅斯學院的Charles and Elfriede Collis歷史學教授。她是達特茅斯學會（Dartmouth Society of Fellows）的創始成員之一。

她是《The Wobbling Pivot: China since 1800: An Interpretive History》（2010）的作者。這本書是清朝歷史的重要研究，也是全球史的前沿教科書。

柯嬌燕以對20世紀身分認同的解析知名。她認為近世歐亞大陸上的大帝國進行的土地征服造成了一種特殊的統治形式，這種統治形式使文化認同的制度化取得優勢地位。柯嬌燕指出這些觀念被編入政治實踐及民族主義的學術論述中，並在21世紀之前佔據主導地位。
