阿基坦语

阿基坦語，是古阿基坦民族的語言，在被罗马征服前的中世纪早期或者更晚的这一段时间裡，古阿基坦地区所使用的语言。该地区位于比利牛斯山脉和加龙河之间，后来被称作加斯科涅。

在考古学、地名学和历史学上的证据都表明，阿基坦語是屬於、巴斯克语的先導族語群。

歷史
西歐地區的阿基坦語和巴斯克語被通常認為是在歐洲，以印歐人為主的語系之外的地方語言。

與其他語言的關係
从巴斯克語的角度来看，大多数阿基坦语专名元素都可以清楚地辨識出来，与瓦斯科尼亚学家为原始巴斯克语重建的形式紧密相配：
