伯蒂亞拉土邦是旁遮普地區面積最大、最重要的土邦。在英國統治時期，該土邦統治者伯蒂亞拉大君享有17響禮炮的特權，並凌駕於旁遮普地區其他土邦之上。該土邦由賈特錫克教徒的統治。
