肯尼思·卡彭特（，） 是一位美国古生物学家。他曾担任犹他州立东部大学史前博物馆（USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum）的馆长，也是多本恐龙与中生代书籍的作者。其研究主要聚焦在装甲恐龙（甲龙类与剑龙类），以及美国犹他州东部早白垩世Cedar Mountain组的恐龙。
早年经历
卡彭特出生于东京，童年时期有一部分时间在冲绳度过。他对化石和恐龙的兴趣很早便开始萌芽——五岁时，母亲带他去观看电影《哥斯拉》，这次经历恰如其分地点燃了他对史前生物的迷恋。
1969年，卡彭特的未来迎来了关键转折。当时他还是科罗拉多斯普林斯（Colorado Springs）的一名青少年，在一处郊区社区发现了一块地懒的骨盆化石。在科学老师的鼓励下，他将这一发现报告给丹佛博物馆，并在博物馆工作人员的指导下参与了化石的发掘工作——这也是他第一次亲身接触专业的古生物学研究。这一经历巩固了他与博物馆之间的联系。
在科罗拉多大学博尔德分校学习，并在全美多家博物馆积累了实践经验之后，卡彭特于1989年返回丹佛，出任首席标本修复师（Chief Preparator）。2010年，卡彭特离开该博物馆，出任犹他州东部学院史前博物馆（Prehistoric Museum）的馆长。
