FLOW-MATIC 是第一种类似於英语拼寫和語法的电子数据处理语言。1955年至1959年，葛麗絲·霍普在雷明頓蘭德公司任職期間为UNIVAC I开发了FLOW-MATIC，并对日後的COBOL的发展起到了推动作用。
