家政（），亦称作家务、治家、持家或家政管理，主要是指对家庭事务的管理，这不仅包括家务劳动，还包括了对其他家庭事务的处置和管理维护。在美国和加拿大，负责持家且不在外工作的人被称为“持家者”（），既包括家庭主妇也包括家庭主夫。历史上，持家者的角色通常由女性承担。但“持家者”一词也可能指在家庭主妇或家庭主夫丧失工作能力期间管理家庭的社会工作者。家庭保健工作者在照顾老年人时承担持家者的角色。这包括准备饭菜、洗澡以及任何有需要的人无法自行完成的任务。
