鴿子級潛水艇救難艦

鴿子級潛水艇救難艦是一款服役於美國海軍的潛水艇救難艦，並於21世紀初陸續退役。

設計
鴿子級是美國為應對核動力潛艇日益優異的下潛深度以及新型深潛救生艇出現而製造的新型潛水艇救難艦，也是自建造於1812年戰爭的後美軍首款採用雙艦體設計的軍艦。雙艦體的設計使船體的穩定性大幅增加，能最大限度地提高作業時的穩定性，寬大的甲板則使救援作業更加順利的同時還能搭在兩艘深潛救生艇，並搭載

憑藉優異的繫泊系統，本級艦能在救援行動中保持精確定位，並使用三維聲納系統追蹤水下DSRV動向。此外，艦上裝有特殊通訊設備，可與沉沒潛艦、其他救難艦艇或搜救機保持緊密聯繫，使其在救援行動中擔負海上指揮中心的重要角色。
