它在乙醚-甲醇混合溶剂中和氯化氢反应，可以得到替诺立定盐酸盐。它和乙酸甲脒反应，可以得到5,6,7,8-四氢-7-苄基吡啶并[4',3':4,5]噻吩并[2,3-d]嘧啶-4(1H)-酮。
