阿維納什·卡馬拉卡·迪克西特（，）是一名印度裔美國經濟學家。他是普林斯頓大學約翰·J·F·謝雷德'52大學經濟學榮譽教授，並曾擔香港嶺南大學經濟學傑出兼職教授、牛津大學納菲爾德學院高級研究員和牛津大學格林坦普頓學院高級訪問研究員。
教育
迪克西特於1963年在孟買大學（）獲得數學和物理學學士學位，1965年在劍橋大學獲得數學學士學位（基督聖體學院，一等獎），1968年在麻省理工學院獲得經濟學博士學位。
職業生涯
迪克西特自1989年7月起擔任普林斯頓大學約翰·J·F·謝雷德'52大學經濟學教授，並自2010年起擔任名譽教授。他還曾是香港嶺南大學的傑出兼職經濟學教授、牛津大學納菲爾德學院的高級研究員和牛津大學格林坦普頓學院的高級訪問研究員。他曾在麻省理工學院、加州大學柏克萊分校、牛津大學貝利奧爾學院和華威大學任教。1994年，迪克西特獲得德國慕尼黑大學首次頒發的CES研究員獎。2016年1月，印度授予迪克西特博士蓮花賜勳章——印度第二高的平民榮譽。
迪克西特還在國際貨幣基金組織和擔任過訪問學者職務。他在2001年擔任經濟計量學會會長，並擔任美國經濟學會副會長（2002年）和會長（2008年）。他於1992年當選為美國文理科學院院士，2005年當選為美國國家科學院院士，2010年當選為美國哲學會會士。他還從2011年起擔任的社會科學評委。
迪克西特與一起撰寫了《不確定性下的投資》（Investment Under Uncertainty），這是第一本專門介紹投資的方法的教科書，鑑於其對該理論的重要性，被稱為「天生的經典」。
