2022年2月11日，官方宣布Billlie將於2月23日以迷你二輯《The collective soul and unconscious: chapter one》回歸，同日，釋出專輯預覽圖並開放預購。
2月12日，公布預告時間表並公布主打歌為〈GingaMingaYo (the strange world)〉。
2月13日，公布「letter from B」，2月14日，公布「what is your B?」，2月15日至19日，公布專輯概念照，2月20日，公開專輯曲目表。
2月21日，釋出專輯音源試聽，2月22日，釋出主打曲〈GingaMingaYo (the strange world)〉MV預告片。
2月22日，因SiYoon宣布確診新冠肺炎取消回歸showcase。
