马克·惠托

马克·惠托（英语：Mark Whittow，），英国史学家、考古学家，专门研究拜占庭帝国。他是牛津大学的讲师、牛津大学基督圣体学院的拜占庭学研究员。

生平
惠托出生于剑桥。先是在牛津大学三一学院学习现代史，后获得拜占庭史与考古学博士学位。2017年11月，他当选下一任牛津大学奥里尔学院教务长，预计于2018年9月上任。

2017年12月23日深夜，他在牛津郡驾车遭遇交通事故而丧生。
