慕唯仁

慕唯仁（Viren Murthy，）是一名印度裔美國歷史學家，目前擔任威斯康辛大學麥迪遜分校歷史學教授。

畢業於伊利諾伊州的森林湖學院，後先後從夏威夷大學馬諾阿分校和芝加哥大學取得碩士和博士學位，師從杜贊奇。他擅長從歷史角度分析近代亞洲的思想與哲學，包括追蹤白永瑞、陳光興、孫歌以及汪暉等知識份子的思想系統。

争议
历史学家汪荣祖评价慕唯仁的《章太炎的政治哲学》充斥着误译和曲解，指其未能读懂章太炎的文言文，“将太炎的学术思想以偏概全”，至于将章太炎与马克思放在一起进行思想对话，看似新鲜，实则“离谱”，属于穿凿附会、怪诞百出。
