2020年夏季奥林匹克运动会女子手球比赛，是因2019冠状病毒病疫情而延期至2021年举行的第32届夏季奥林匹克运动会的其中一个比赛小项，于2021年7月25日至8月8日在日本东京都国立代代木竞技场举行。
法国队在决赛中以30比25击败俄罗斯奥委会队，赢得队伍史上首枚奥运金牌的同时，也成为继丹麦和挪威后又一支同时获得过奥运会、世锦赛和欧锦赛冠军的女子手球队，由于先前法国男子手球队也获得金牌，法国也成为继苏联和南斯拉夫后又一个在单届奥运会上包揽手球项目全部两枚金牌的国家。挪威队在铜牌赛上以36比19大比分战胜瑞典队，连续第二次获得奥运铜牌，瑞典队尽管未获奖牌，该队仍创下队史奥运最好成绩。
