蔡少棠（，），生於菲律賓，籍貫福建泉州晉江塘東村，美國電機工程學者，現為加州大学伯克利分校电機工程与计算机科学系教授，。他提出了憶阻器、蔡氏電路和細胞式類神經網路（CNN）等理论。他被認為是非線性電路分析理論（nonlinear-circuit theory）之父。在他预测憶阻器存在的三十七年后，在惠普公司由领导的研究小组开发出能工作的固态憶阻器。。長女蔡美儿为耶鲁大学法学院终身教授，她是《虎妈战歌》一书的作者。
學術貢獻
蔡少棠提出了細胞式類神經網路等理论。蔡被認為是非線性電路分析理論（nonlinear-circuit theory）之父。蔡还发明了著名的蔡氏電路，并且首次提出了其背后的理论，推测出了憶阻器（Memristor）的存在。在他预测忆阻器存在的三十七年后，在惠普公司由R.斯坦利·威廉斯领导的研究小组开发出能工作的固态忆阻器。
在1971年他加入伯克利大学之前，蔡少棠从1964-1970年間曾經任教于美国普渡大学。他現在的研究領域是：細胞式神經/非線性網絡，非線性電路和系統，非線性動力學，分岔理論，混沌理論。他也是[http://www.worldscinet.com/ijbc/ 国际分岔和混沌期刊（The International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos）]的编辑。
