羅馬帝國界牆

羅馬帝國界牆（Limes），又稱羅馬帝國長城，是現代人所指的羅馬帝國在其國界修建的防禦日耳曼人的防禦系統，但當時的羅馬人修建這些建築的目的未必是防禦日耳曼人。這一概念也可以指羅馬帝國在其國界前線的防禦系統，包括東部和非洲國界。與其類似的概念有長城。
