神經遞質受體()也稱為神經受體(),是被神經遞質激活的膜蛋白受體。細胞外部的化學物質(例如神經遞質)可以撞入細胞膜,沿著膜我們可以找到受體。如果神經遞質撞入其相應的受體,它們將結合並觸發其他在細胞內發生的事件。因此,膜受體是分子機制的一部分,該分子機制使細胞能夠相互通訊。神經遞質受體是一類相對於其他分子與神經遞質特異性結合的受體。
