坦克登陆艇（landing craft, tank，LCT）是运载坦克在滩头敌前火力下登陆的船艇。二战时英国海军提出这一船型。美国大量生产制造LCT，并在二战后继续发展这一船型。

二战时，英国首相温斯顿·丘吉尔坚持建造坦克登陆艇。700马力达到10节航速。1940年7月订购了20艘1型坦克登陆艇，1940年10月又订购了10艘。
