艾伦·麦克法兰（, ）是一位英国人类学家和历史学家。皇家历史学会、人类学会会士。
生平
1941年出生于英属印度的一个英国茶种植园的家庭，毕业于龙学校，1963年毕业于牛津大学伍斯特学院，1967年凭借论文'[https://ora.ox.ac.uk/objects/uuid:1ffd2745-1cc7-4058-a781-5161cfd3866c Witchcraft prosecutions in Essex, 1560–1680: A Sociological Analysis] '获得哲学博士，1968年凭借论文'The regulation of marital and sexual relationships in 17th century England'获得伦敦政治经济学院人类学硕士学位，1972年凭借论文'Population and resources in central Nepal'获得伦敦大学亚非学院博士学位。之后任职于剑桥大学国王学院，1991年升任为正教授，2009年成为终身荣誉教授。
