腦植入物

腦植入物(英文：Brain implant)又通稱為神經植入物(英文：neural implants)是直接連接到生物受試者的大腦的技術設備-通常放置在大腦表面或附著在大腦皮層上。現代大腦植入物的共同目的和當前許多研究的重點是建立生物醫學假體，以規避腦中風或其他腦損傷後功能失調的區域。這包括例如視覺中的感覺替代。出於科學原因，其他腦植入物僅用於記錄動物的大腦活動即可用於動物實驗。一些大腦植入物涉及在神經系統和電腦晶片之間創建接口。這項工作是更廣泛的研究領域稱為腦機介面的一部分。（腦機介面研究還包括諸如腦波圖陣列之類的技術，該技術可以讓頭腦與機器之間建立接口，但不需要直接植入設備。）

神經植入物，例如腦深層刺激和迷走神經刺激，已分別逐漸成為帕金森氏症和重性憂鬱疾患患者的常規治療方法。
