警备队

警備隊（），更恰当的说法是（羅馬）城市警备队(Vigiles Urbani)或警备大隊（Cohortes Vigilum）是古羅馬城内的一支警務与消防队伍。

公元6年，罗马城发生火灾，此后奥古斯都组建了这支队伍作为常备消防队，其由被释放的奴隶自由民组成，最初包括七支大队。其职责除灭火外，此队伍亦担当着夜间守备的职责。
