生態區域列表

這是一個由世界自然基金会（WWF）所收集匯整的生態區域列表。

世界自然基金会將生態區分為陸地、淡水、海洋3大類型。其中，陸地及淡水部分可依地理分布、演化歷史因素及生物類群之相似性再分為8個生態界，共包含867個陸地生態區域及426個淡水生態區域；海洋部分則可依緯度及洋盆分為12個生態界，包含232個海洋生態區域。

陸地
陸地分區方案將地球陸地劃分為8個生物地理分布区，包含867個細分的生態區域，每個生態區域按照14種主要生境類型或生物群系進行分類。

2017年，WWF修訂了阿拉伯半島、乾燥非洲地區，以及美國東南部的生態系統名稱和邊界。

目前正在纳入南极界的其他生态区域（基于Terauds等人，2012）
