李察·史丹利

李察·史丹利（，）是一名南非男導演、編劇和製片人。他以1990年的科幻恐怖片《霹靂戰士龍》而聞名，該片除了取得成功的票房外更在之後成為了一部邪典電影。

早期生活
李察·史丹利出生於南非開普省。他是非洲著名記者兼探險家亨利·莫頓·史丹利的後裔。他的母親彭妮·米勒（Penny Miller）是一位藝術家和人類學家，以《南部非洲神話與傳說》（Myths and Legends of Southern Africa）一書而聞名。

史丹利在就讀開普敦大學期間主修人類學，他也曾在的檔案系工作；就學期間他時常拍攝部落舞蹈和儀式的影片。
