印度副總統

印度副總統乃憲法規定下印度政府第二高的職位，僅比印度總統為低。現任副總統是。

印度宪法第65條指出：總統辭職、被免職、逝世、被彈劾、或未能履行總統職責時，副總統將會履行總統職責，作為應急方案。副總統亦擔任议会联邦院的官守主席。

副總統是由選舉人團以可轉移單票比例代表制的不記名投票方式選出，選舉人團由印度國會兩院所有議員組成，投票過程由選舉委員會負責。副總統任期為五年，理論上可以無限期連任，直至繼位者就任為止。若联邦院以「有效半數」通過決議，副總統即可被免職。副總統亦負責維護联邦院議員的權利和特權。

自1950年副總統一職成立以來，共有13人擔任此職位。首位副總統為萨瓦帕利·拉达克里希南，其在1952年3月13日於總統府宣誓就職。拉达克里希南後來亦擔任總統。
1969年，扎基尔·侯赛因逝世，時任副總統瓦拉哈吉里·文卡塔·吉里隨即請辭參加總統選舉，最終當選。13位副總統中，其中6人最後都成功擔任總統。2025年9月，宣誓就任第15任印度副總統。
