赫伯特·里斯·威尔逊 FRSE（，，或译贺伯特·威尔森），是一位英国物理学家，他的导师为约翰·兰德尔爵士，伦敦国王学院研究DNA结构的团队成员之一。

早年
他出生于的，父亲是一位船长。他先后在内芬学校和普尔赫利文法学校接受教育。之后，他进入班戈大学，于1949年获得物理学一级荣誉学位，并于1952年在埃德温·欧文（Edwin Owen）教授的指导下获得博士学位。
