布倫特福德的斯特恩男爵尼古拉斯·赫伯特·斯特恩 （Nicholas Herbert Stern, Baron Stern of Brentford，）是一位英國經濟學家，曾任英國科學院院長、世界銀行首席經濟學家。2006年提出了斯特恩報告。
生平
他先後在劍橋大學彼得豪斯學院、牛津大學納菲爾德學院攻讀本科和博士，博士生導師是諾貝爾經濟學獎得主詹姆斯·莫理斯。1970-77年間在牛津大學擔任講師，1978-87年在華威大學擔任經濟學教授，1986-93年在倫敦經濟學院擔任經濟學教授。1994-99年任欧洲重建和发展银行顧問。2000-03年擔任世界銀行首席經濟學家。2003年擔任英國財政部第二常務秘書，2005年7月受命調查氣候變化對經濟的影響，最終在2006年提出了斯特恩報告，2007年卸任。
