1989年國際足協世界青年錦標賽是國際足協第7屆國際足協世界青年足球錦標賽，本屆主辦國為沙烏地阿拉伯，比賽日期為1989年2月16日至3月3日，所有球賽在利雅德、達曼、吉達、塔伊夫等4個城市舉行。
上一屆冠軍在這屆賽事未進入決賽圈，地主隊則在小組賽以1勝2敗遭到淘汰。本屆決賽為葡萄牙對，葡萄牙最後以2-0勝出，首次奪得冠軍。本屆神射手由奧列格·薩連科;}-獲得，他在這次比賽中踢進5球。
