雷巴齊斯龍科

雷巴齐斯龙科（学名：Rebbachisauridae）是蜥脚类恐龙的一个科，所知于南美洲、非洲、北美洲和欧洲白垩纪时期的破碎化石。

分类学
1990年，蜥脚类专家杰克·麦金托什（Jack McIntosh）根据骨骼细节将首种已知雷巴齐斯龙科——北非巨型蜥脚类雷巴齐斯龙归入梁龙科叉龙亚科。之后几年里，随着一些新属的发现，人们意识到雷巴齐斯龙及其近亲构成了一个独特的恐龙分类群。阿根廷古生物学家何塞·波拿巴于1997年描述雷巴齐斯龙科，Whitlock于2011年定义该科的两个新亚科：尼日龙亚科和利迈河龙亚科。以下演化树为Fanti等人（2013年）的研究结果，其依据是Carballido等人（2012年）的系统发育分析：

演化关系与特征
尽管所有权威都同意雷巴齐斯龙科是梁龙超科的成员，但它们缺乏梁龙科和叉龙科分叉的颈椎神经棘，因此被认为比后两类更原始。目前尚不清楚它们是否具有后两个类群特有的鞭尾。

雷巴齐斯龙科与其他蜥脚类的区别在于其独特的牙齿，这些牙齿具有低角度、内部和不对称的珐琅质。

至少有些雷巴齐斯龙科（如尼日龙）的特征是具有齿系，这在蜥脚类中独一无二，类似于鸭嘴龙类和角龙类恐龙。这样的摄食适应在恐龙中已经独立发展了三次。

到目前为止，已知雷巴齐斯龙科只出现在晚侏罗世至晚白垩世。它们构成了该分支最后一类已知代表并与泰坦巨龙类生活在一起。
