理查德·伯顿

理查德·伯顿（，），是英国演员。他曾经是好莱坞身价最高的演员，与女演员伊丽莎白·泰勒曾兩度結婚又兩度離異。

生平
童年与教育
理查德·伯顿出生在英国威尔士名叫Pontrhydyfen的小村庄，在工人家庭长大，在十三个孩子中排行第十二，父親名叫Richard Walter Jenkins Sr. (1876–1957)，是個煤矿工人；母親名為Edith Maude Jenkins (娘家姓Thomas; 1883–1927)，在Miner's Arms的酒吧裡當侍女。兩人也是在該酒吧裡相識交往結婚家人稱呼Richard Walter Jenkins為Daddy Ni。根據傳記作家Melvyn Bragg，理查德形容其父親為「一天喝十二杯啤酒的男人」，有時會跑去喝酒及狂賭幾個禮拜，而且「長得很像我」。理查德並形容其母親為「一個很強悍的女人」以及「帶有虔誠的靈魂，一頭金髮及美麗的臉龐」
他爸爸是煤矿工人——「十二小时制的工人」。伯顿的家人后来声称：「他看上去很像我...他非常擅长雄辩，投入巨大的热情，以及巨大的暴力」。

Edith在產下第十三個小孩Graham的六天後過世，理查德僅僅兩歲。Edith的死因為產褥熱，理查德認為是衛生不良所導致。根據傳記作家Michael Munn，Edith很講究衛生，但暴露在煤礦產生的灰塵下造成了Edith的死亡。

事業
伯顿曾经入圍过七次奥斯卡最佳男主角奖，一次奧斯卡最佳男配角獎，但卻从来没有获奖。

自传
1964年, 他写了一本名叫《A Christmas Story》的半自传体小说，内容是有关于在威尔士煤矿村的经历。李也是莎士比亚戏剧的权威演出者明星，多在伦敦剧场演出，李个人与伊莉莎白泰勒婚姻分合多达四次成当时趣谈。
