赫氏矮海豚

赫氏矮海豚（學名：Cephalorhynchus hectori） ，又名贺氏矮海豚，是侏海豚属下的一種海豚，其下兩個亞種全都生活在新西蘭。其中生活在南島附近的C. h. hectori數量最多，而瀕危的毛伊海豚（C. h. maui）則生活在北島附近海域。据2010/2011年數據顯示，後一亞種僅存55只成年個體。其种加詞來自威灵頓殖民博物館（今新西兰蒂帕帕国立博物馆）館長詹姆斯·赫科特（James Hector，1834–1907），他最早對這种海豚進行了研究，但正式的科學研究則始于比利時動物學家皮埃尔·约瑟夫·贝内登。
