王富文 (, )，英国人类学家，苗学研究专家。中文名王富文。
生平
王富文1952年11月5日出生在英格兰，1972年在剑桥大学攻读英国文学学士，1978年在伦敦大学攻读东南亚研究硕士，1979年在伦敦大学亚非学院继续攻读研习社会人类学博士。1985年毕业后赴香港中文大学担任人类学讲师，与费孝通是同事。1992年回到英国在爱丁堡大学担任人类学讲师，1997年在英国担任海外发展管理林业项目组长。2000年赴澳大利亚国立大学担任讲师，教授，直到被评为终身荣誉教授。2010年来到上海华东师范大学担任人类学研究所所长，社会系主任。
2015年10月10日因淋巴癌医治无效，在上海华山医院逝世，享年63岁。
