新約蒲草紙抄本是指被謄寫在蒲草紙上部份新約的複本。到目前為止，已經發現了超過120份像這樣的蒲草紙抄本，它們普遍被認為是新約聖經原文最早的證據。
新約聖經抄本的重要性到了二十世紀才顯現。最初的分類是由Caspar René Gregory發明，賦予每份蒲草紙抄本一個哥特體字母\mathfrak{P}，再加上數字編號。編號不是依據抄本的年代，而是依據登記的先後次序。 在1900年以前，只有9份蒲草紙抄本已知，當中只有1份被引用（\mathfrak{P}11，由康斯坦丁·馮·蒂申多夫）。這9份蒲草紙抄本當中，除了 \mathfrak{P}15擁有完整的一面，其他抄本都是單獨的殘片。 二十世紀的發現帶來了已知最早的新約聖經手稿片段。 Kenyon 在1912年發現了14份， Aland在著作Kurzgefasste第一次出版時列舉了76份(1963年)，1989年時已知有96份，2008年時已知有124份。到現在已知總共有129份蒲草紙抄本。
最重要的蒲草紙抄本是徹斯·貝蒂蒲草紙抄本， \mathfrak{P}45（徹斯·貝蒂蒲草紙抄本第一號）包含了福音書；\mathfrak{P}46（徹斯·貝蒂蒲草紙抄本第二號）包含了保羅書信；以及\mathfrak{P}47（徹斯·貝蒂蒲草紙抄本第三號）包含了啟示錄和約翰書信。這些抄本的年代都是在三世紀以前。
不是所有的抄本都僅包含新約文本：\mathfrak{P}59, \mathfrak{P}60, \mathfrak{P}63, \mathfrak{P}80 的文本附有注釋; \mathfrak{P}2, \mathfrak{P}3 和\mathfrak{P}44 是經題; \mathfrak{P}50, \mathfrak{P}55和 \mathfrak{P}78 是護符；而 \mathfrak{P}42, \mathfrak{P}10,
\mathfrak{P}12, \mathfrak{P}42, \mathfrak{P}43, \mathfrak{P}62和\mathfrak{P}99 屬於其他類的文本，如註腳、詞彙、歌曲。
所有的蒲草紙抄本都有被Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece引用。

- P編號是格雷戈里 - 奧蘭標準系統。
- 定年的估計結果以50年為級距呈現。
- 內容以最接近的章節標示，有時候將經文列出。因為許多的蒲草紙抄本是小片段，而不是整個章節。例如，\mathfrak{P}^{52} 包含約翰福音18章40節中的5節。

注釋: "早期" 抄本表示四世紀或更早以前的抄本，約有一半的蒲草紙抄本是"早期"抄本。有些抄本包含了新約全書以外的內容，因此以上統計的抄本數目並不能直接對應到抄本總數。
