世界湿地日

2月2日是世界湿地日，由国际湿地公约常委会于1996年10月确立，以便开展各种活动来提高公众对湿地的认识，促进湿地保护。

1971年2月2日，在伊朗的拉姆萨尔签署了全球性政府间的保护公约《关于特别是作为水禽栖息地的国际重要湿地公约》，简称《湿地公约》。
