迈克尔·奇米诺（英語：Michael Cimino， ；）是一位美国电影导演、编剧和制片人。凭借1978年越战题材的电影《猎鹿人》赢得奥斯卡最佳影片和最佳导演奖，以及美国导演工会奖最佳电影导演、第36届金球奖最佳导演和洛杉矶影评人协会最佳导演奖。
生平
西米諾出生於美國紐約市，是美國意大利裔第三代，成長於長島。
1956年，進入密西根州大學，主修圖像藝術，到1959年畢業時，贏得了一次廣告比賽大獎。之後進入美軍服役；再之後投身廣播業，為電視台廣告片監製。
電影生涯
1971年搬往加州，正式投身電影業，負責編撰劇本。而首部任導演之影片，則為1974年之《》，由克林·伊斯威特主演。當年此片上映時預算僅四百萬美元，票房收入卻達二千五百萬美元，並斬獲第47届奥斯卡金像奖最佳男配角提名。
1978年找來罗伯特·德尼罗主演越戰題材電影《獵鹿人》，除斬獲四千九百萬美元票房，並於奧斯卡贏得五個大獎，包括最佳導演。
然而此後西米諾導演生涯卻出現倒退：1980年執導《天堂之門》，以四千四百萬美元預算，四度超支，卻僅收三百五十萬美元票房，直接導致相屬電影公司破產。該年西米諾獲得金酸莓獎最差導演。
西米諾要到1985年才再有機會執導，然而其作品《龍年》，票房即使達一千八百萬美元，仍令投資方賠本。1996年執導《The Sunchaser》，一上畫後因反應慘淡，最後還只能改於電影頻道播放，而此片，亦是西米諾最後一部導演作品。
去世
2016年7月2日，西米諾遺體在洛杉磯家中被發現。死因未有公佈，外界估計是因病去世。
