粗尾鼠負鼠屬（，白鼠負鼠），哺乳綱的一屬，而與鼠負鼠屬（白鼠負鼠）同科的動物尚有林負鼠屬（安氏負鼠）、短尾負鼠屬（短尾負鼠）等之數種哺乳動物。
形態描述
本屬物種的前上頜骨是圓的而不是尖的。雌獸有育幼袋，而且其乳頭在腹部排成對稱的兩排 。除T. macrurus以外，其餘物種皆以其尾部儲存脂肪，儘管可能這並不適7於所有同屬物種。

化石物種
Fossils belonging to the genus date back to the 中新世, with the oldest specimens being found in the Cerro Azul Formation of 阿根廷 and the of 哥伦比亚. Genetic studies indicate that the genus may have originated around 14 million years ago.
