东部伙伴关系

东部伙伴关系是一项由欧盟发起的处理欧盟国家和前苏联加盟共和国即亚美尼亚、阿塞拜疆、格鲁吉亚、乌克兰、摩尔多瓦、白俄罗斯之间关系的计划。该计划的目的是为欧盟国家和前苏联国家间建立谈判贸易、经济战略、旅行协议和其他话题的场所。该计划亦被俄罗斯认为是欧洲国家瓦解独联体和削弱俄罗斯势力范围的重要计划。 此外，除白俄罗斯以外的非欧盟成员进一步参与了欧洲委员会和，这些国家在这些大会上与欧盟建立了更密切的政治和经济联系。 白俄罗斯参与东方伙伴关系及其总统卢卡申科在2009年的一次峰会上成为争论的主题。2011年9月30日，白俄罗斯退出了该倡议，原因是：“前所未有的歧视”和“替代”两年前该倡议所依据的原则。然而三天后，白俄罗斯外交部长谢尔盖·马尔蒂诺夫反驳了这一点。 2021 年6月28日，白俄罗斯外交部确认白俄罗斯将暂停其在东方伙伴关系中的成员资格。
