浦田-新島彗星

浦田－新島彗星，官方命名為112P/浦田－新島（112P/Urata–Niijima），是一顆公轉軌道周期為6.68年的彗星。

發現
日本天文學家浦田武、新島恆男在1986年10月30日發現浦田－新島彗星。英國天文學家布萊恩·馬斯登於11月5日首次確定該彗星公轉軌道周期為6.68年。

基特峰國家天文台天文學家James V. Scotti在1993年10月20日首次觀測浦田－新島彗星的回歸。
