巨頭麝香龜

巨頭麝香龜（，學名：Sternotherus minor）是小麝香龜屬下的一種龜，原産於美國。其种加词“minor”意为“较小的”。

描述
巨頭麝香龜得名自其不尋常的巨大頭部，其成年個體背殼長約，其鰓只存在於下頜上。

亞種
包括其指名亞種在內，巨頭麝香龜可辨識的亞種共有2種：

• Sternotherus minor minor (Agassiz, 1857)
• Sternotherus minor peltifer (H.M. Smith & Glass, 1947)
