罗纳德·约翰·约翰斯顿（，常译R·J·约翰斯顿，）生于英格兰斯温顿，英国人文地理学家，大英帝国勋章获得者，英国社会科学院院士，英国国家学术院院士，以其对于地理学理论（特别是地理学的历史及其性质）、城市社会地理学和选举地理学的贡献而著名。约翰斯顿在批判社会和政治主题中集定性研究方法之大成。同时他还是《人文地理学词典》前四版的主编。
