概要
作品的點子來自於義大利的金屬音樂樂團「Disarmonia Mundi」的團員Ettore Rigotti，某日Ettore Rigotti的友人因提及「若將吉卜力系列動畫歌曲以金屬樂來翻唱不是很好玩嗎」，讓Ettore Rigotti興起製作此專輯的興趣。

參加翻唱的成員除Disarmonia Mundi外，尚有包括同來自義大利的「Destrage」、美國的「Living Corpse」、與日本的Blood Stain Child、男樂手Neroargento及女歌手Yoko Hallelujah等人，之後共同以「Imaginary Flying Machines」的名義來發表。
