巴姆 (伊朗)

巴姆是伊朗的城市，位於該國東南部，由克爾曼省負責管轄，始建於642年，海拔高度1,059米，2012年人口76,959。2003年12月26日，該鎮發生矩震級6.6級的地震，造成嚴重破壞。
歷史
古老的巴姆城堡（Arg-e Bam）歷史可追溯至帕提亞帝國（公元前248年－公元224年），但許多建築物是在薩法維王朝時期建造的。

關於這座城堡的建立時間和原因，存在多種說法。在經濟和商業上，巴姆在世界上佔有非常重要的地位，並以其紡織品和服裝聞名。外國旅行家兼地理學家伊本·霍卡爾（943–977）在其著作《地球之形》（Surat-ul-'Ard）中這樣描述巴姆：

:>「那裡的人們織造優質、美觀且耐用的棉布，這些布料被運往世界各地。他們還製作精美的服裝，每件價值約30第納爾；這些服裝銷往波斯呼羅珊、伊拉克和埃及。」

2003年巴姆地震於12月26日協調世界時01:56（伊朗標準時間上午5:26）襲擊了巴姆及伊朗東南部克爾曼省周邊地區。關於此次地震的震級，最廣泛接受的估計為美國地質調查局測定的矩震級6.6級。這次地震破壞力極強，造成26,271人喪生，另有30,000多人受傷。地震造成的破壞之所以如此嚴重，一方面是由於該市的建築物主要以磚砌結構為主，其中許多建築不符合伊朗於1989年制定的抗震規範；另一方面，主震發生時，大多數居民正在室內熟睡。
